Help for: avians
A flying race who make good spellcasters

The Avian race is one of two bird-like species in AlteredReality.   Like
the Kenku race, they are very mysterious and their past is highly debated by
historians all over AlteredReality.  They are born with the ability to fly,
and their experience brings them the ability to avoid lightning attacks. 
Included in their foreign arsenal is the ability to distinguish reality from
unreality and light from shadow, giving the ability to see nearly anything
that is normally hidden from view.  When they finally descended from their
distant mountain home, they encountered the other bird-like race, the Kenku.
These two races are thought to have fought with each other over tribal
beliefs and territory.  When the war of these two species was over, and the
Avians came down from Firetop Mountain, they soon found that they were prone
to many diseases and poisons they had never encountered on top of their
secluded mountain home.  It is rumored that the Avians are a religious race,
although some debate that they are just a spiritual people.
