The charisma stat (CHA) is essentially a measure of your ability to
influence others.  It reflects a number of things, such as
attractiveness/appearance, charm, persuasiveness, and basically how other
perceive you.  Having high charisma doesn't necessarily mean that you're
lovable and friendly, but it implies that you're able to convince others that
you are if you choose.

Currently, charisma is the least-implemented of the stats, but it does have
its uses.  It directly affects how well you're able to recall, how well you
use persuasive skills, like haggle, and nearly everything bards do.  After
all, what's a musician without any appeal to or influence over their
audience?
