The main function of concentration (CNC) is to decrease casting time for
spellcasters.  By concentrating and focusing your mind, spells may be cast
more quickly.  Concentration also affects success with a small number of
skills, including wands and staves, and it contributes to your maximum total
mana.  It has very little affect for non-spellcasters, as most things they do
don't require the same amount of intense focus.
