Elves are an ancient race, possibly the oldest in all of AlteredReality. 
Slightly taller than most humans, they are lightly built and have more of a
carefree attitude about life.  Because they were secluded in the remote
vales to the east, they learned how to see without being seen.  They can not
be hunted, even by the best of the trackers.  They also have the natural
ability to see in the dark due to their ancient background.
