A flying race, similiar to the avians

Kenkus are one half of the half bird, half man populations, with the
other half comprised of Avians.  Thought to be among the oldest of the
races, they too reside on Firetop mountain.  About the same size as an
average human, they have large wings that give them the ability to soar in
the air.  The feathers on their bodies are usually dark yellow or blue,
thought to distinguish between clans and the difference between the Avian
and the Kenku.  They also have extraordinary eyesight, quite similar to
Avians.  An ancient tale taught to young Kenkus is that the Kenku race was a
nocturnal race with limited eyesight.  They prayed to the gods of
AlteredReality to give them vision in return for anything they deemed fit. 
They granted their wish with magical eyesight in return for a weakness to
magical energies.
