These are the rules of AlteredReality.  For other matters, use common sense.

1.)  General Information
        1.1)  Cheating
                Cheating will not be tolerated.  This includes accepting
                favors from immortals, exploiting bugs, or violating any
                of the rules posted below.  Some of these rules are
                hardcoded into the mud and nearly can't be broken, but
                trying to break them anyway, or breaking rules that aren't
                stopped by the mud will result in severe punishment.
        1.2)  Idling
                Unsupervised idling of your characters is not allowed.  If
                you will be away for an extended period of time you will
                be disconnected.  If you use triggers or timers to stay
                online you will be purged.  Repeat offenses may result in
                denial of your character.
        1.3)  Censoring
                AlteredReality uses a censor that filters bad words out of
                all public channels aside from the war channel.  Words
                that are considered "bad" are at the discretion of the
                immortal staff.  Being caught by the censor results in a
                fine of 10 gold.  Remember you are playing this game on a
                private server not covered by the first amendment.
        1.4)  Changes
                Changes to these rules may be done without warning,
                notice, or even evidence of sanity.  We will of course
                however do our best to keep you informed.
