Help for: skulks
A race of lithe lizard-like creatures

Skulk are a race of secretive lizard-like people.  They can will their
skin to change color and texture to match any color or pattern.  They are
skilled at keeping to the shadows and staying invisible to get their work
done.  Only the most adept can detect them.  Not much is known about this
race, as they are very secluded from the normal population, living on the
edge of everyday society.  It is unknown where they came from or when they
appeared in the realms of AlteredReality, and many are still ignorant of
them.  Even though there is no proof, rumors among scholars say that evil
clergy from the pits of Underdark created them, and some even believe they
are from the bowels Hell.  They have the ability to resist the negative
forces of magic, but they are vulnerable to light and holy attacks.
